Professor Xiao Lu is a Professor and PhD Supervisor at the School of Atmospheric Sciences, Sun Yat-sen University, and Deputy Head of the Department of Atmospheric Physics and Chemistry. His research focuses on the sources and trends of greenhouse gases and atmospheric pollutants, interactions among weather, climate, atmospheric chemistry, and air quality, and numerical modeling of atmospheric chemistry and the Earth system.
